சோவியத் ரஷ்யா இன்று இல்லை.லெனினுக்குப் பிறகு வந்த ரஷ்ய கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சித் தலைவர்களை நினைவுகூரவோ,கொண்டாடவோ இன்று யாருமில்லை. மிச்சமிருப்பது இரண்டுதான். கம்யூனிசம் என்கிற சித்தாந்தம். லெனின் என்கிற செயல்வீரரின் ஞாபகம்.

ரஷ்யா என்றால் ஜார். ஜார் என்றால் ரஷ்யா.ஆள்கள்தான் மாறுவார்கள். ஆட்சி மாறாது.அடித்தாலும் உதைத்தாலும் அவர்தான். கீழ்ப்படிவதற்கு மட்டுமே ரஷ்யர்களுக்கு உரிமை அளிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது. இதுதான் வாழ்க்கை.இதுதான் விதி. லெனினின் வருகைக்கு முன்பு வரை.

எத்தனையோ தேசங்களில் எத்தனையோ ஆட்சி மாற்றங்கள் நிகழ்ந்திருக்கின்றன.ஆனால் ரஷ்யாவில் லெனின் தலைமையில் நிகழ்த்தப்பட்ட புரட்சிக்கு இணையாக இன்னொன்றை சரித்திரம் இன்றுவரை கண்டதில்லை.

காரணம், மக்களே வீதியில் இறங்கி ஒன்று திரண்டு நிகழ்த்திக் காட்டிய புரட்சி. வழி காட்டி, வியூகம் வகுத்தவர் லெனின்.வெற்றிக்கு வித்திட்டவரும் அவர்தான்.

வீரமும் திகைப்பும் அதிரடிகளும், அடி ஆழத்தில் தேச நலன் என்கிற பொதுவான சிந்தனையோட்டமும் கொண்டது லெனினின் வாழ்க்கை. மருதனின் புலிப்பாய்ச்சல் மொழியில் லெனின் ஜிவத் துடிதுடிப்புடன் இன்னும் வாழ்கிறார்.

We do not have Soviet Russia today. And there is none to commemorate or celebrate the Russian Communist leaders who came after Lenin. Only two things remain: Communism as an ideology and the memory of the powerful and operational leader Lenin. Russia means tsar. And tsar means Russia. Only individuals come and go. The rule will not change. Whether you are beaten or kicked, tsar is the ruler. The Russians were given the right only to be submissive. Before the advent of Lenin, that was life and that was destiny. Many a nation has seen changes in the government. But history has not seen a revolution equal to the one effected under the leadership of Lenin. The reaon was that people themselves descended into the streets and made the revolution possible by their unity. Lenin guided and arrayed them and paved the way for victory. Lenin's life was comprised of courage, surprises, suddern turns but the well-being of the country was the underlying thread of his thinking. In the language of Marudan which leaps like a tiger, Lenin lives with flesh and blood again.
